Kris Woz & Kara Eide are a casting duo based in Vancouver, BC. They each have extensive experience in film and television casting, and in their 10-year partnership have collaborated on many award-winning projects including Kathleen Hepburn and Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers’ “The Body Remembers When the World Broke Open,” Sophie Jarvis’ “Until Branches Bend,” Anthony Shim’s “Riceboy Sleeps,” and Agam Darshi’s “Donkeyhead.” They have provided Canadian casting for Adele Lim’s “Joy Ride,” Stephen Chbosky’s “Wonder,” Shana Feste’s “Boundaries,” Richard Shepard’s “The Perfection,” and Chad Hartigan’s “Little Fish,” among other films. Kris and Kara have also worked on various television series including “Animal Control,” “Two Sentence Horror Stories,” “Gaslight,” and “The Edge of Sleep.”
In addition to their feature film and television work, Kris & Kara’s portfolio includes numerous commercial campaigns for a variety of high-profile clients including Apple, General Motors, FedEx, Reebok, Subaru, Visa, Proctor & Gamble, Pepsi, Lexus, Tylenol, Wealthsimple, Pampers, Nintendo, Peloton, and Google.
Kris & Kara have cast features and short films that have screened at over 30 film festivals worldwide, including Toronto International Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival and Vancouver International Film Festival. Their casting work has also been nominated for an Artios Award (The Casting Society of America) and several Leo Awards (The Motion Picture Arts & Sciences Foundation of British Columbia).

Associate Casting Director James Kirk has worked in the film industry for over two decades, starting at age 12. James has appeared in over 15 feature films and countless television shows, including “She's The Man,” “X-Men 2,” and “Two For the Money.” He has worked alongside some of the best actors in contemporary film, including Halle Berry, Matthew McConaughey, Hugh Jackman and Channing Tatum. Passionate about his craft, James has also given his voice to countless animation projects, the latest being "Animal Behaviour," which was nominated for an Academy Award. After building experience in all aspects of the industry, James has been a part of Kris Woz and Kara Eide Casting for over six years.
