About Kris & Kara


Kris Woz & Kara Eide are a casting duo based in Vancouver, BC. They each bring to their partnership extensive experience in casting for film and television productions, and together have worked on many projects including Stephen Chbosky’s “Wonder” (Julia Roberts, Jacob Tremblay), Kevan Funk’s “Hello Destroyer” (Jared Abrahamson, Ian Tracey, Sara Canning), Giancarlo Esposito’s “This is Your Death” (Sarah Wayne Callies, Josh Duhamel and James Franco), Shana Feste’s “Boundaries” (Vera Farmiga, Christopher Plummer, Bobby Cannavale) and Wayne Roberts' "Richard Says Goodbye" (Johnny Depp, Rosemary DeWitt). 

In addition to their feature film and television work, Kris & Kara’s portfolio includes numerous commercial campaigns for a variety of high-profile clients including Reebok, Pepsi, Lexus, Tylenol and Google.

Kris & Kara have cast features and short films that have screened at over 30 film festivals worldwide, including Toronto International Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival and Vancouver International Film Festival.

James Kirk has been in the film industry for over two decades. Starting at the age of twelve, James has appeared in over fifteen feature films and countless television shows and movies including, She's The Man, X-Men 2, and Two For the Money.  He has worked alongside some of the best actors and actresses in modern day film including, Halle Berry, Matthew McConaughey, Hugh Jackman and Channing Tatum. Passionate about his craft, James has also shared his voice to countless animations, the latest being "Animal Behaviour" which has recently been nominated for an Academy Award.   Having had much experience in all aspects of the industry, James is thrilled to also have been a part of K+K Casting over the past four years.
